Substation Control Monitoring System (PDCS), HV and LV AC motors, AC electrical variable speed drive systems .Interface with the Instruments DSS/PCS.
Design and construction is to NORSOK and IEC standards.

FEED project for new Bab Central Desalting Plant, 2 trains, modifications to existing BCDS plant,1 new Remote Degassing Station, 4 new Water Injection Clusters and 4 new Well Pads for Bab Field, Abu Dhabi.
Work is to review and approve all FEED electrical deliverables for 220kV,33kV, 11kV, 3.3Kv new substations, Emergency diesel generators,220kV, 33kV. 11kV, 3.3kV,415v Primary and secondary distribution networks including all associated equipment and cabling, Low voltage distribution network, AC and DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and distribution networks. Substation Control Monitoring System (SCMS), HV and LV AC motors, AC electrical variable speed drive systems. Solar Power Panels, Interface with the Instruments IPCS.
Design and construction is to ADCO, Shell DEPs and IEC standards.

Electrical work includes: Main steam turbine generators and step-up transformers, their associated control and protection systems and cabling/power connections, Three Essential diesel generators including all associated equipment and cabling, Two Emergency diesel generator including all associated equipment and cabling, 33Kv. 11Kv, 690V,400v Primary and secondary distribution networks including all associated equipment and cabling, Low voltage distribution network including all associated equipment and cabling,AC and DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and distribution networks including all associated cabling, Electrical Network Management and control system (ENMCS),HV and LV AC motors, AC electrical variable speed drive systems.
Design and construction is to Shell DEP standards, IEC 60092, Lloyds Rules and Regulation for the Classification of Ships and Australian codes.

Owner’s Lead Electrical Engineer.
Lead on-site electrical engineer for the owner during the construction and commissioning of Flevo (2 X 416 MW/520 MVA) KA26-1 Combined Cycle Power Plant and associated 380kV and 150 kV Substations connections to the grid, being engineered, furnished, installed and commissioned by Alstom under a lump sum contract. Each separate unit consists of a 262 MW Gas Turbine coupled to a single shaft with a 130 MW Steam turbine receiving steam from a HRSG driving a 520 MVA Generator producing 435 MW at 21Kv.
3/08 to 2/09 Technip, Paris, France.
Lead Electrical Engineer on a pre-FEED study for Pluto-2, 4.2 Mtpa LNG Liquefaction Plant for Woodside Energy, Perth, Australia.
The work includes the expansion of Pluto-1 facility to add a second train. New process facilities include GT/LP/MR compressor with 20MW VFD helper motor, BOG compressor 5.2 MW, methane product compressor, GT/PR compressor with 20MW VFD helper motor, End Flash compressor 20.5 MW VFD. New Electrical facilities included four Frame 6, 30MW/50MVA CTGs with 11/33Kv step up transformers, one 33kV GIS substation, four 33/6.6Kv 20 MVA transformers, ABB Power Management System to IEC-60870-5, four 6.6 kV/ 400v substations and associated cable tray, 33 Kv, 6/10kv and .6/1kv cable installation, 3 2.5 MW emergency power Diesel Generator Plant, DC and AC UPS, Lighting, grounding and lightning protection.
Design and construction is to Shell DEP and WEL standards, IEC and Australian codes.
Other studies completed for new Browse Gas Field.

8/07 to 2/08. CBI Europe BV. Fujian LNG Terminal, Putian, China.
Lead Electrical Engineer EPC, on final design through energizing for LNG receiving terminal for CNOOC Fujian LNG Co Ltd. Design contractor is Chenda Engineering Company and the Construction contractor China Petroleum First Construction Company (CPFCC)
The work includes the design, construction and commissioning of two 160,000 cubic meter LNG full containment storage tanks, Jetty, offshore flare, Seawater intake structure, Seawater pumps Seawater treatment package, Boil-off gas compressors, Recondenser, HP Openrack vaporizers, LNG Intank-pumps and HP Send-out pumps, Truck loading facility, Nitrogen, Plant and Instrument air packages. Electrical facilities included one 110Kv GIS substation, two 110/6.6Kv 25 MVA transformers, Siemens Power Management System to IEC-60870-5, two 6.3 Kv/ 380v substations and associated cable tray, 110 Kv, 6/10kv and .6/1kv cable installation, essential power Diesel Generator, DC and AC UPS, Lighting, grounding and lightning protection.
Design and construction is to IEC and Chinese GB codes.

EPC is Technip/JGC/TR Sa designed in Kuala Lumpur, Japan, Paris and Madrid.
Project management based in Kuala Lumpur.
New 125,000 bbd, grass roots refinery, first in Vietnam. Process units Include CDU, NHT, CCR, KTU, RFCC, LPG treater unit, RFCC NTU, SWS. SRU,CNU,SRU, ISOM, LCO HFT. Offsites include crude oil storage, refinery tankage, loading and receiving jetty, seawater intake, flare and firewater. Utilities include steam with 4 x 27 MW Steam Turbines, 6.6Kv Emergency Diesel Generator, Nitrogen, CW, air and caustic plants.

Part of ECMT team working for client on the onshore oil and gas project in contractors, MSS/HARKEN, office in Budapest Hungary.. Review and approve electrical detailed design. Design is to KDOC standards, IEC 60287, IEC 60079 and other IEC and Kazakakstan standards.

Senior Electrical Engineer. Worked on a Project Proposal for ARAMCO Safaniya Offshore Expansion of Gosp-4 to maintain to 1300 and 750 MBCD at Safaniiya and Zuluf Offshore Fields. New facilities included, 3 phase LPPT, 230kv GIS Substation expansion, PIB building, Booster and injection pumps.

• Caltex Batangas refinery debottlenecking project in Manila, Philippines for revamp of FCCU and Gas Recovery Plant, Crude Unit, Platformer, Naphtha Hydrotreater, Diesel Desulfizing Unit, LSR Merox Unit, new Sulfur Recovery Plant, and 8 MW Diesel Electrical Generation Plant.

Oil and Gas projects:
• ARAMCO Shaybah Development Project, a grassroots multi project $2.0 billion program to develop 500 MBCD oil production facilities at Shaybah Saudi Arabia. Facilities included three gas oil separation plants, 300MW power plant (GEFR7) an airport, industrial complex, a 600 kM, 46 inch pipeline to ABQAIQ and additional stabilization facilities at ABQAIQ plant.
