Action in this role : As an expatriate I was in charge of financial management practices, procedures and reporting requirements managing the portfolio of Infrastructure activities of 2.5 Billion in USAID/Iraq/Baghdad considered the most important program in the world, which included power, water, sanitation and transportation networks. Responsible to follow up and implement and monitor sound internal control and audit practices for USAID. Supervising banking operations, and preparing financial and accounting reports leading the financial activities.
Results: Avoiding the internal control risk to mitigate errors or irregularities as well as frauds, during the payment process obtaining good results and coaching during the weekly meetings in how to implement corrective internal control actions under the project´s portfolio.
Establish a high level of interpersonal communication with Bechel officials and Regional controller about the financial management of the implementaion of projects, ensuring that the monthly billing documentation was accurate.

I am team evaluator member of Local Government Institution under the Public Financial Management Risk Assessment Framework-PFMRAF in GORESAM-Regional Government of San Martin and GOREU-Regional Government of Ucayali following the USAID forward (Implementation and Procurement Reform) and mentoring of USAID/Brasil and Paraguay Financial staff .
In charge of financial management practices, procedures and reporting requirements. I was thoroughly familiar with power, micro-credit, democracy, health,education and programs,infrastructure, agriculture, trust fund, alternative development projects computerized accounting and financial systems along with local regulations for a variety of entities. I was managing a portfolio of US$ 140.0 million of USAID/Peru activities under Health and Education program.
I am an active and pro active oriented to the customers with strong management diplomatic skills and teamwork with multidisciplinary professionals looking for sinergies, coordination efforts and improve the technical cooperation between regional office and local partners, oriented to meet organizational goals efficiently in a timely manner, leading the projects with professionalism and integrity with pressure.
and since April 2012 I am in charge of monitoring the regional financial area of portfolio of projects in Brazil, Ecuador (closed in September 2014), Paraguay and Venezuela.
