Summary

I am a Surveyor with experience mainly in the mining sector, 20 years of which were for one company. This includes both Underground and Opencast and some Civil surveying, using GPS, a Total Station and Lidar Scanner. Ideally looking for a position as a Surveyor. Available to start immediately. Willing to work on a contract basis.

Surveying of Opencast workings using a Lidar Scanner and related software. Modelmaker for processing and volume calculations.
Doing monthly measuring of all BCM and Coal mined, including building of point cloud models for volume calculations.
Establishing of new mining operations from surface Trig beacons and GPS control points.
Stakeout of new structures and surveying of existing structures e.g. buildings, dams, drains, fencing, gates and roads using Modelmaker to draw cad plans, and GPS and Total Station to do the stakeout.
Designing drilling lines, using Pit Limits provided.
Staking out of drilling lines and measuring collars of holes drilled.
