Highly capable EC&I professional with more than 20 years of onshore / offshore experience in various industries including Oil and gas pharmaceutical, refinery's and power stations. Experience in various roles including E&I commissioning and multi discipline supervision as well as hands on roles as a commissioning engineer. I am committed to maintaining safe working procedures and responsibility for safety and environmental compliance with active participation in all HSE initiatives. My experience has helped progress projects from initial tendering and planning through installation phase and final commissioning on various projects from safety instrumented systems, oil and gas wells, power generation, gas compression, chemical injection and control system change outs all completed in a timely and safe manner. As working on various hazardous area projects, I have been able to undertake Ex inspections as part of a QA/QC role and populate the correct GOC / Inspection Test Reports and completions documentation as well as compiling commissioning procedures.

Working as a commissioning focal point primarily on North Sea assets my role is to be responsible for testing , certification and handover of various multi disciple projects.
The role covered everything from mechanical completion and punch list walk downs to ensure projects are ready for commissioning through loop checking, function checking, cause and effect testing to compiling commissioning procedures and being the team focal point for handover to the installation manager.
An integral part of this role is to devise solutions to any issues that may arise during the commissioning phase and to generate the required engineering and technical queries which close out any outstanding concerns prior to completion.

Part of a small multi disciple commissioning team serving a number of North Sea assets. My role was to lead on electrical and instrumentation scopes and assist on mechanical and systems scopes. Delivered control sytems upgrades on ageing assets which significantly extended field life. Various installation and commissioning scopes through new wells, flowline s and HPU's , HV upgrades , Gutor UPS systems as well as multiple instrumentation scopes. My reponsibilities included co ordinating and completing Ex inspections , loop checks and calibrations , compiling test packs and commissioning procedures. I was the focal point for all E&I handovers and as such delivered scopes on time and complete.Commissioning of Late Life Extension Project including new Separation, Flare Gas, Wellheads , ESP's and Fire & Gas Systems.

Overall E&I Construction Supervisor alongside back to back with responsibility for installation of electrical , instrumentation, fire & gas and SIS Delta V control systems on the Thistle Alpha & North Everest platforms. Main role involves management of multi discipline teams including electrical, mechanical , L3 riggers and rope access technicians.
Duties include setting and delivering on work schedules and targets, managing safety compliance, progress reporting , material control, liaising with clients and other trades as well as being responsible for GOC completion & handover documentation.
