Welding Manager/Superintendent

Welding Manager working on various projects for clients such as Total, Exxon Mobil, Chevron and Subsea 7, HHI and Samsung. During this time I managed and oversaw the fully equipped training school for training and development, welding procedures and qualification of all welders for the various contracts as required, I had a team of 12 expat superintendents working for me plus local content supervisors and foremen. Contracts included building 2 Topsides and jackets for OFON Phase 2. This included fabrication and installation of all pressure vessels and pipework including stainless steel and duplex. SONAM jacket and topside, all piles for jackets. ERHA suction piles, FLETS, PLETS and subsea well jumpers. EGINA FPSO helideck, riser protectors, riser porches and flare tower. All associated grillage for load-outs and sail-aways were fabricated and welded for all of the above by ourselves. I also sourced and purchased all of the equipment necessary to fulfil all requirements for each project. I had a very hands on approach and would step in and help where necessary. I worked closely with all project/construction managers to ensure they had the required manpower and equipment.
