Summary

I am a 36 year old male and a South African citizen currently employed in Angola as QA/QC Rep for Chevron,
I have thirteen years’ experience as a QA/QC inspector on new fabrication as well as maintenance projects in the Petrochemical / Oil and Gas sector.
I started working on Sasol plants in 1999 and continued to do so for most of my career. I have an excellent knowledge of all Sasol specifications related to maintenance and new fabrication of pressure equipment, Pressure piping and structural steel work.
I have 6.5 years EPC and EPCM experience with Thyssenkrupp Eng. During my 6.5 years with Thyssenkrupp I have completed various high profile projects for Sasol South Africa as a senior QC inspector. As a QC inspector at Thyssenkrupp we were responsible for managing many vendors at one time from start of fabrication to final release on a vast range of mechanical equipment. I have represented Thyssenkrupp as a QC coordinator / Inspector at various vendors around the world in countries like Dubai, Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany and USA.
I see myself as an expert in ASME IX welding procedure review, approval and development.
I have a vast knowledge of most design codes like ASME, EN and AD Merkblatter.
