Experienced Project Director with twenty four years of experience in the international construction industry on major Civil and Building Projects within both contracting and project management consultancy.

Having worked in project management consultancy since early 2005 predominantly in Dubai, I have worked with and led multi-cultural project teams in the set up and delivery of large scale building projects covering both pre-contract and post-contract stages.

Project Director representing the Project Management Consultant on a mixed use residential community comprising 968 townhouses, 919 apartments and 195 villas with a signature golf course in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and management of the pre-contract and post-contract project phases.
• Plan, monitor, control and co-ordinate Consultant and Contractor activities.
• Close logistics management and planning due to challenging constraints and nature of the project site.
• Progress tracking, regular monthly reporting to the Client and other required reporting.
• Development of and input in to procurement strategy that entails the procurement of multiple packages.
• Client liaison, chair weekly Client meetings and attend other key project meetings.
• Ensure that the Project Team adheres to the established Project Procedures.
• Manage and oversee the Statutory Authority Approvals process and associated tracking.
• Monitor and control QA/QC standards and health and safety standards.
• Development of and management of the risk register.
• Review and action project correspondence.
