Performed a twofold task. Assisted the Kildrummy cost manager rollout in FE group; this involved converting in excess of 600 projects (AFEs – Approval For Expenditure) from an Excel-based system to the KCM.
Challenged the KCM perception in cost analysts’ minds. Convinced project engineers (PE) to start using KCM. Taught cost analysts and project engineers the concept of VOWD and how to report it correctly.
Mentored local cost analyst staff in cost engineering; taught them the basics of project management skills.

Due to budget issues, was transferred from Agip to Saipem.
Responsibilities included setting up cost reporting, incl. VOWD and the subcontractor’s weekly reports. Applied for payment preparation based on work performed on job cards, equipment and manpower timesheets. Ensuring WBS coding was correct. Demobilized after achieving >90% completion.

Responsible for AFE register and Cost Reports, approval of CM invoices on Ariba eProcurement system, checking and verifying Construction Management (PFD CM) Site Cost Reports and incorporating into TCO’s report to the partners and RoK. Cecking PFD’s organisation charts including changes, PAF registers, checking and commenting on PFD’s Contract Status Review (CSR) sheets including forecast variances, participating in monthly CSR meetings, processing PFD’s Potential Verification Notices (PVN’s) and agreeing them with Completion Managers. Various ad-hock exercises in answering queries from TCO partners and RoK government regarding Total Installed Cost (TIC) monthly variations, contingency drawn down and manpower and equipment resource loadings per contractor per construction area.
