Expertise in both domestic and international environments including onshore, offshore, desert and frontier applications from Alberta and Texas; to exposure in Malaysia, Western/Central/North Africa, Holland and North Sea; over the course of which attained sensitivity and maturity while operating in a culturally diverse and challenging surroundings.

Besides general involvement with completions, workovers and water injection in CWSB (Canadian Western Sedimentary Basin); HP/HT shale-oil in Texas; Heavy-Oil and steam injection in Holland; and Gravel-Pack type of sand control in deep wells of Africa; directs risk assessment including hazard (HAZOP) studies.

Please note that I am a Consultant/Advisor/Petroleum/Completion/Wellbore Intervention/ Production Optimization/Artificial Lift Engineer.

My objective is the position of Petroleum/Completion/Production/Artificial Lift Engineer with a progressive, stimulating organization utilizing my education and know-how in petroleum engineering with extensive experience in Production Technology, Enhanced Oil Recovery, and Artificial Lift.

Having spent 25 years working for AGOCO - Arabian Gulf Oil Company (BP, Hunt Oil, Chevron and Texaco) in Libya, I was retired at 65 years of age (on March 19, 2010) due to mandatory clause valid both for Libyans and expatriates working as full staff employees.

As of now however, I have already worked as a Consultant/Advisor on four different assignments (Chad, Malaysia, and twice Texas) and feel I am able to contribute and bring value to an ambitious and forward looking Company.

Expertise in both domestic and international environments including onshore, offshore, desert and frontier applications from domestic in Alberta and Texas, to international exposure in Malaysia, Western/Central/North Africa, Holland and North Sea; over the course of which attained sensitivity and maturity while operating in a culturally diverse, remote and challenging environment.

Also Multi-phase Flow, Pressure Transient Analysis, Curve Matching, Production Optimization, Completion, Workovers, Stimulation, Hydraulic Fracturing, Casing/Tubing Design, Packer Movement Calculations, Cased-Hole Logging, Coiled Tubing, Fishing Operations, Servicing and Abandonment of wells in conventional and unconventional reservoirs in the oil and gas industry.

Assumes responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies.

Applies technical knowledge to solve unanticipated situations; and formulates and implements long-term strategies to improve operations and reduce costs. Besides general involvement with HP/HT shale oil and gas in Texas, heavy oil and steam injection in Holland, and gravel pack type of sand control in deep wells of Nigeria, Libya, and Chad; I have an extensive understanding of downhole operations in oil and gas wells like stimulation procedures required in hydraulically fractured wells (both vertical and horizontal) coupled with design, implementation and follow-up of wellbore integrity and zonal isolation in particular.

Possesses a strong background in researching wells with incomplete data base, and the ability to interpret and organize voluminous well records - “Forensic Investigation/Failure Root Cause Analyses Engineering”. By the same token, owns capabilities to foresee future problems.
