I’m a motivated, adaptable and responsible individual with excellent around knowledge in mechanical engineering and project planning. Willing to relocate overseas to bring my qualities to the work place such as good team work, organisational skills, efficiency and a meticulous approach to work.

Experience with various versions of AutoCAD, Pro E, Advance Steel, Inventor, Microsoft applications and internet based document control systems. Also involved in implementing management systems following the guidelines outlined by ISO 9001:2008 and working to various international standards.

Used to dealing with various standards from different countries and engineering fields. Management of commissioning and FAT testing and completion of technical manuals.

Townsville Logistics is a logistics company for road, sea and rail for bulk materials and containerised goods for major refineries, mines and shipping lines. Also supplies maintenance and breakdown services for road and port equipment.

My position as Superintendent/Project Engineer requires me to fulfil two roles within Townsville Logistics. In my role as Superintendent I provide leadership and management for the company in areas of operations, maintenance, health and safety, compliance, training and development of the company. The team consists of 100 personnel and numerous contractors which not only operates but also maintains over 600 pieces of equipment ranging from prime movers, light and heavy equipment, cranes and plant such as conveyors and mobile hoppers.

Part of the development of the company involves completing contracts and/or service agreements between new customers and suppliers for both domestic and international companies. I attend and report on operational performance and produce forecasts for management, clients and suppliers based on KPI’s outlined in contractual agreements.
My role also includes settling disputes, investigating incidents and ensuring the compliance is met at all times with constantly changes regulations and standards.

My position as Project Engineer has me managing engineering projects for the company. My involvement is throughout the life of the project from cost analysis to selecting vendors and then construction and commissioning phases.
Managing the projects requires writing contracts for service providers and suppliers and ensuring that they meet the needs of the project and also conform to applicable standards.

My position as Senior Mechanical Engineer requires me to be the head mechanical engineer on all projects. I provide leadership and supervision to the engineering and Draughting team by managing job responsibilities.
I attend and lead client meetings to establish design briefs, concepts, cost models and performance criteria. Part of producing concepts and designs requires me to be familiar with regulatory standards, material selection, engineering calculations, costings and programmes.
As lead engineer on projects I have to prioritise work workload and out-source to contractors with correct documentation such as specifications, engineering data and layout drawings.
Additional duties include regular reporting of costs and progress of projects to stakeholders and ensuring that all documentation meets the appropriate QA standards.
