- Project manager at the technical service of production and maintenance department with an objective of maintenance and production improvement that increased profitability and reliability. Managed teams and contractors directly linked to operations and maintenance teams without incurring any production stoppages.
- Harbour and handling experience with heavy industrial equipment such as conveyor belt (8000t/h), stacker-reclaimer, train unloading and ship loaders.

Key Accomplishments:
• Refurbishment of a Pump House, Port-Cartier (2015) - After consecutive unplanned breakdowns and no spare parts remaining, I was put in charge of root cause analysis and the reorganization of the emergency pump house. Those pumps were of crucial importance as the breakdown could have threatened the entire operation with potential daily losses in the million dollars range. The project was completed in collaboration with maintenance and production teams, under strict time constraints. As a key coordinator, the project was on budget, without any injuries, and significantly improved reliability and maintenance efficiency with no loss in production.
• Conveyor Belt Structure Refurbishment Under Production (2014) - The success of this project (i.e. making repairs without stopping production, - a specialty of mine) was due to the ability to coordinate the activities, the creativity to solve complex constraints and team work from different disciplines. The conveyor portion of the 8000 TPH capacity conveyor belt was completely refurbished without loss in production. It was on budget, on schedule and without injuries. Multidisciplinary team management ensured that automation, electrical and mechanical devices remained operational.
• Safety standard implementation for lifting devices (2014) – Responsible of the implementation of new safety standards regarding lifting devices such as overhead cranes and lifting anchor points. Identification and inventory of all the lifting anchors with a complete program of identification and inspection. Communication and follow-up of the new standard.
