Over twenty (20) years of experience in Materials Management, Material Control and Site Materials Management for world-class EPC corporations within the upstream oil and gas industry. Recently completed a 3-1/2 year assignment as the Material Control Manager on a refinery project in Cartagena, Colombia. Currently looking for new opportunities.
For 17+ years I have been involved in the development and management of project materials management programs for multiple project types, up to $7B USD in project value. My experience involves project Materials Management for the full project cycle, from home office materials management in support of engineering and procurement, to site materials management in support of construction completion, commissioning and start-up. I have also been involved in the technical implementation and functionality of various integrated materials management systems, including 8+ years of experience with Intergraph’s SmartPlant Materials (SPM). I have vast experience working with and managing multi-national teams.

• Manage material control activities with global site offices ensuring that materials are purchased and delivered in an orderly manner and to maintain a flow of materials consistent with priorities for fabrication, construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate material control activities between global fabrication sites, including punchlisting of materials at the various fabrication sites (South Korea, Abu Dhabi, Scotland) to identify and control materials required for the completion of hook-up and carry over work for the atshore phase of the project.
• Responsible for inventory control, reporting and documentation.

• Ensure that hook-up, commissioning and operations materials requirements were satisfied in a timely manner, and in accordance with the integrated work plan.
• Interface with planning, engineering, procurement, expediting/logistics, and warehousing to ensure timely flow of information and materials to and from the platform, offsite fabricators and offsite warehouses in support of the project commissioning team.
• Liaise with SAP MM team to ensure material control data integrity, including relevant data migration from project materials management software packages MAPLIS, HPMS/AxioM and Access.
• Organize and supervise activities for all permanent materials at warehouse/laydown areas, including determining upcoming deliveries, planning manpower & equipment, material receiving, inspection, storage, issuing, OS&D’s and inventory checks (cycle counts).
• Responsible for the data validity and integrity in the project integrated Materials Management system.
