I have over 20 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas Industry and I have developed my skills and knowledge to a high standard within this time. I was employed at Mubarraz Industrial Training Centre in Saudi Arabia as a mechanical industrial skills trainer, responsible for teaching mechanical students in the theory and workshop practical section of the mechanical curriculum including, lay out and bench work, technical drawing, measurement, hand tools and power tools, valves, compressors, lifting & rigging, gaskets & seals, shafts, couplings & keys, bearings & lubrication, transmission systems and pumps. Within this role I offered guidance and support and assist with preparing the students for performance tests, module tests and online testing.

I was initially employed for the commissioning of a new process phase at Sangachal oil & gas terminal in Azerbaijan. After successful handover of the new plant and equipment I was transferred to the maintenance department where my duties included carrying out maintenance on all mechanical plant and equipment including, pumps, valves, air and gas compressors, gas turbines, heat exchangers and chemical injection packages in accordance with BP’s safe systems of work procedures.
In my last role I was employed at the CTTC (Caspian technical training centre) to coach and assess national trainee mechanical technicians who were enrolled on a post foundation mechanical training course. Within the role I offered guidance and support to the trainees as they gained advancement into new roles and responsibilities
