My skills and experience started off as an Electrical Apprentice on an open cast diamond mine, from there it progressed into an Electrical artisan maintaining the Diamond plant equipment, then I moved into Maintenance planning, my next appointment was as an General Engineering Superintendent managing the maintenance of over 100 Earthmoving machines. I then started a new direction of work in the ship repair industry but for the same company, as an Electrical Engineering officer managing the complete drydock repairs to various large mining ships, after 7 years I moved into a senior construction Engineer position in the Projects department for another 3 years. Currently I own my own Electrical contracting company but is looking to work in the Netherlands, Belgium or other European countries.
