Responsibilities: Developed the program for the procurement and construction of each of the Sydney Metro City and Southwest contract packages. Reviewed project plans and programs for compliance with the contract requirements. Prepared monthly project program report and measured progress against baseline program. Identified project critical issues and assisted the client and contractors in developing control measures. Developed time, cost and schedule risk assessment procedures as part of the Sydney Metro Integrated Management System.

Projects included; Hunter Rail Cars, Outer Suburban Rail Cars, Waratah fleet including the maintenance facility and training simulators. The first run into service was successful for all of the projects as a result of the well-coordinated transition into service programs.

Responsibilities: Reviewed project plans and programs for compliance with the contract requirements, prepared regular reports and visual management tools for the Executives, developed project management systems that gained accreditation to ISO 9001 and participated in the assessment of contractual claims.

Prepared the cash flow scenarios, analysed various construction methodologies for the tunnelling works, prepared tender schedules, evaluated tender programs and prepared detailed programs for the staging of the works including detailed planning for early works and possessions.
