Summary

For the last 7 years I have worked in the oil and gas sector as Telecommunications Technician supporting field communication infrastructure on BP offshore platforms in the Caspian Sea.
My wide practical experience includes BP platforms working with Telecom packages through on-yard commissioning, offshore SAT, handover to Operations and on-board maintenance.

I meet the key technical skills and experience required for this role which includes:

- Radio Frequency Antenna - UHF/VHF including crane radio systems (Tait, Motorola, Sailor, Park Air and Zetron);
- PAGA (ACE 100, Spector Lumenex);
- CCTV (Hernis, VideoMarine);
- Extensive experience in Microwave (Longreach);
- LAN/WAN CISCO;
- TCP/IP;
- ICSS (similar to SCADA);

Throughout my career I have effectively communicated between operations; logistics and vendor companies for engineers’ mobilization to operational sites.

Since commencing in the oil and gas industry in 2012 I have remained injury free. I have an impeccable safety record and I am the recipient of numerous BP recognition awards for excellent safety performance. With BP Exploration and Production I was an Emergency Response Team Member.

I have previously worked on a FIFO roster under harsh climatic conditions incorporating after-hours work and I am confident that my hands-on experience will be useful for service delivery in total.
