I am an experienced Site, Logistics and Supply Chain Manager and have had significant success in managing Maintenance, Construction, Defence Supply Chains and transport and terminal operations. I have had various General Management roles where I have had responsibility for HSES, supply, financial, commercial and human resource management. I have worked in Australia, SE Asia, USA, Middle East and the Central Pacific.

Manager, Asian Marshalling Yard, Thailand (Laem Chabang).

To manage the setup and subsequent operation of two Free Trade Zone areas in Laem Chabang port precinct in Thailand, meeting Thai and Australian import/export legislation, optimising shipping to support the construction schedule and ensuring quarantine compliance of all construction stores. Responsible also for the delivery of Health, Safety, Environment, QA/QC and preservation services.
• Successfully set up the free trade zone arrangement and commenced operations according to schedule. This included training a largely Thai workforce.
• Development of procedures and design of workflows and facilities.
• Safely lead the operation: 1000 days (over 1,500,000 man hours) with no LTIs.
• Formulated and arranged the delivery of cross-cultural training to align the expectations of the culturally diverse team.
• Successfully managed all aspects of operations including health and safety, ship discharge and load-out, storage, ground transportation, quarantine compliance, preservation, remediation of construction equipment, logistics and materials management and commercial aspects of the operation.
• Closed the operation on schedule with no legacy issues.
