HVAC Facilities (Centralized Direct Expansion System) in the Sub Station building, Control building, Ware House, Accommodation block, Analyzer room, and Pump room. Review /Approve Contractor/ Vendor design, data, drawings. so that required objectives and industrial standards and codes are met,Area classification-Hazardous/Non Hazardous Area Classification based on Zone system or latest Class/Division/Group System, U.S.A.▪Fire, Gas and Smoke criteria-Control logic for PLC/DCS in relation to safety.
▪Temperature (23 Deg. Cent.±1.5DegCent.)and Relative Humidity(50%±5),Higher temperature, generally above 40 Deg. Centigrade. will malfunction Electronic Chips, microchips, PCB’S other electronic components and electrical panels/High humidity will tend to deposit water moisture on electronic/electrical component ,will malfunction plant operation. With very low humidity/dry atmosphere there is possibility of static discharge(possibility of ignition flammable gas and dry air) in the dry area like battery room.
▪HVAC system equipments layouts-Location, Selection of HVAC equipments respect to space available and routine of refrigerant pipes / (Dx. System) and routine layout of Chilled water pipes in chilled water system.
▪Air cleaning and Filtration-Removal of air borne Particles, Dust and Gaseous contaminants from the Fresh air, Exhaust air and Flue gas for air pollution control. Reduce the salt in fresh air concentrations to 0.05ppm by weight from an input of 3.6ppm, based on NGTE(National Gas Turbine Establishment, USA) Standard 30 knot aerosol and (ii) dust particle removal efficiency of 98% at 6 microns to BS 540 Part I or equivalent.
▪Pressurization-Prevent smoke spreading and keep enclosed escape ways free of smoke in case of fire and prevents ingress of potentially explosive / toxic gas-air mixtures into non hazardous areas, electrical switch rooms and equipment rooms.
▪Air dilution ventilation-To maintain an atmosphere where the gas/air mixture is kept below lower explosion limit (LEL) during normal operation and also to reduce the risk from build-up of potentially explosive / toxic gases within these spaces
▪Selection of Refrigerant- Never Use of flammable and explosive refrigerant like Ammonia, recommend to use HCFC-R407C /R-134A/R123and R410
▪HVAC Control Philosophy-It is very important feature, on Safety, detection of Fire, Gas, Smoke will be alarm as well logic sequencing of stopping/Running of HVAC Equipments. and Economical-Part load running of the HVAC system based on ambient air condition.

A)HVAC-Chilled water system-Commissioning (Short Note)-Entire chilled water pipes are clean flushed for 2-3- hours with plane water with the help of pump, to remove foreign particles, dust debris formed during welding(Pipes).First chemical is added- DEARBONE in to the closed chilled water pipe loop, system pressure is increased to 2-3 BAR with hand pump, run the system for 10-12 hours with continues water circulation with pump as desired by the consultant. Flush entire system, add chemicals(cleaning),inside water circulation check water sample in laboratory for PH value should be between 7-8.Seprate temporary Pump, Butterfly valve funnel assembly is made for this purpose. During flushing care should be taken that water should not enter chilled water coil in order to prevent any damage to coil. Check alignment of pulley for AHU Blower, fixing of Pre and Bag filters, Temperature and RH measurement, CFM fresh/recirculation air measurement etc.

Maintenance of Direct expansion system as well chilled water system for Oil pier building, KOC, Training center for KNPC and Resorts Commercial complex involving chilled water system up to 750 T.R.
Responsible for EPCM of HVAC system for Chillers(Air cooled condenser with copper tubes/fins with anti corrosive resistance painting/Water cooled condenser with Cu./Ni. tubes, chilled water/condenser water pumps with Mechanical seal and SS impeller, Air Handling units, double deck air handling units, Fan coil units, gate valves, globe valves, isolating valves, Balancing valves, Flexible connection at In/Out on water and air side of AHU/FCU, Test points, Scrubber(Dilution of toxic H2S gases/Purge system), Fume extractors, drain cock, Binder test point, air vents. Strainers ,check valves,2/3 way valves with proportion ting/on-off thermostats, pressurizing tanks, Expansion tanks, flow switch, Chemical dosing pot, Read, Prepare, Evaluate–Consultant specification/B.O.Q./Contract Condition, prepare if any deviation require from specification and approval of same from client/Consultant.

Plan, Organize & implement a design built project ensuring timely completion ,in addition to preparing cash flow forecast, Vendor awarding & developments. Preparation of process and Instrumentation (PID) diagrams.
Checks, Prepare, Approve, Certify on Chilled/condenser water or Refrigerant piping layout drawing, showing size of chilled/condenser/refrigerant water pipes, location of Gate/butterfly/double regulating Valve, Balancing Valve, Strainer, air vent, mixing/modulating valve, coupling, Duct layout drawings, showing size and location of supply air/return air diffusers/grills/risers, volume control damper, fire damper etc. Plant room layout drawings showing location of chillers, chilled/condenser water pumps, noise level below 82 dB at distance of 3 ft, pressurization unit, chemical dosing pot etc.
Central toilet/kitchen ventilation/Separate dedicated hydrogen Battery room ventilation system sizing exhaust fan, fuel storage ventilation, Chilled water pipes/ duct riser diagram. Pressure testing of chilled water pipes (7-8 Bar)/Copper refrigerant pipes 20 Bar in Dx system, Commissioning, pre-commissioning and testing,
▪Air Handling Unit run test, inspection of fan belt tension, and pulley alignment
▪Chemical cleaning/dosing of chilled water loop with chemical to flush burr, debris, foreign particles
▪Activation of heater banks in step with desired set temperatures
▪ACCU/CHILLERS testing of high pressure and low pressure refrigerant, Oil pressure checks
▪Chilled water pumps checking for Mechanical seal, flow switch operation, Impeller balancing.
▪Functioning of Solenoid valve/coil activation, Condition of filter drier, Color of refrigerant after starting the unit in sight glass indicates moisture, air present in the refrigerant system
▪ACCU cut In/Out refrigerant Pressure testing, leak test(Refrigerant torch, Soap solutions),flushing with nitrogen, ▪Creating vacuum and gas charging
▪Airflow balancing, Water flow balancing.

-HVAC system for Ministry of Oil and Gas for KNPC in Kuwait for their Oil Pier facility worked as Senior HVAC Engineer for HVAC scope Hyundai Engineering and Construction.
-HVAC facility for training center of Kuwait Oil company involving Reciprocating Air Cooled Chillers(Carrier), Micro processor panels, Air handling units, Chilled water pumps, Fan coil units, Chemical Dosing system, Pressurization pumps, BMS/DDC controls and PLC.
-Refrigerant pipe Sizing, Chilled/Condenser water pipe sizing, Design/Selection of Double deck air handling units with fixing amount of fresh air(Need for positive pressure to be maintain) and circulation air quantity fixing, Pressure drop calculation for chilled water loop, friction loss in chilled water/Dx. coil, Valves, Pipes, Bend, Elbows. Design of Air handling unit required sections Pre Filter, Bag Filter, Chilled water coils, Humidifying Section, Water Eliminators, Fan Section, and Pre Heaters based on Out door air ambient condition, psychometric plotting and Indoor Air Temperature and Relative Humidity air condition parameters requirements.

Air cooled Central Direct expansion air conditioning system involving, Air cooled chillers, Double deck air handling units, Variable speed chilled water pumps, Chilled water piping, MCCB/MCB/PCB/ELCB with Automatic expansion tank, Dosing pot Electrical wired to DCS for alarms on equipment run hours, TRIP/FAULT/RESET was working as lead HVAC Engineer
- Air Conditioning facility for Thane Municipal Hospital involving Operation theater with 100 % treated air facility without recirculation of air. The temperature was maintained at 21 Deg. Centigrade and controlled Relative Humidity 50%.The positive pressure were maintained inside operation theater and filtration level was 99.99% down to 0.3 microns (HEPA Filters) .The water cooled condenser chilled water system system with air handling unit were having Chilled water coil back to back Direct expansion coil this coil is connected to condensing units located on the roof. In emergency in case chilled water system trips or fails, the stand by Direct expansion system will start, hence during critical time HVAC facility will not get effected.
