As Section/Plant Engineer I was the head of an engineering- and maintenance team of a dairy processing and filling and packaging plant, in addition to my Project Engineer responsibilities.

My Project Engineering responsibilities included
• Capital investment budgeting
• Conceptual- and detail engineering design
• Process-, services/utility- and automation equipment selection
• Managing civil-, mechanical- and electrical installations using subcontractors
• Developing automation sequences for plant automation engineers and system integrators.

My Section-/Plant Engineering responsibilities included:
• Establishing and implementing a newly developed predictive maintenance system.

• Upgrading the automation system of the filling and packaging section of the plant.
• Implementing various energy and water savings projects and initiatives.
• Responsible for ATEX and explosive atmosphere compliance of the entire facility.
