Cerro Pabellón power plant will include two High Enthalpy Organic Rankine Cycle [HE-ORC] Sets/Units called ORC1 and ORC2, each one of 24MW nominal power for a total gross power of 48 MW located in the North East part of Chile (Ollague Province, region of Antofagasta) at an altitude of 4.500 meters a.s.l.

• The purpose of the role: creation of new organization chart and management of the team that will working in different of the construction phase.
The initial phase involved, along with the PM, the choice of the various sub-contractors for some jobs (Civil, Welding, Mechanical and Electrical).
The preparation of the framework agreement of all sub-contractors, of work estimates with verification of employment curves, verification of documentations of all work machines and all equipments needed, verification of authorization needed to be able to work on site (especially those relating to high-altitude works) and also the comparation of planning;
• Manage all engineering activities (FEED, Basic, Construction design and revisions), civil activities, pre-fabrication, fabrication, erection, construction, installation with the supplying of equipment and materials for pipeline of steam, water and drainage in carbon steel (about 30 km with different diameters 32”, 24”, 12”, 8” and 6”), as well as for the electric and automation part. Connection, by using the welded carbon steel pipes with different diameter from 32", 24" and 8”, of 10 wells with various deep positioned in the different areas of the yard, from the wellheads completed with safety valves to the Separation/Reinjection area of the yard, contractor and subcontractor’s coordination, cost control of the project, contractor/subcontractors relations change management, schedule of work till the hand-over of the plant;
• Manage, search and select a new team of welders, for to the welds of the all pipelines (steam, water and drainage), checking and testing of welds with WPN procedure and the production of welding in inches (KPI), and the relative qualification for working inside the yard.
• Manage daily meeting with ours supervisors and ours team leaders about each daily activity (with a work descriptions) from the various areas of the site and feedback to the our PM and also to the Management of Client;
• The management of relations with the customer has always been consistent and very constructive, there was always a direct comparison on the analysis of the proposed solutions both technically and economically and this it has subsequently obtained a positive result in terms of cost reduction (- 25%) and time (-10%).
• This result, even given the excellent synergies created by myself with the management of E.G.P. and having regard to the ready responses that always have been provided both from the point of view of the design choices that of the work program management and also from the point of view of cost management, allowed P.E.S. s.r.l. to obtain from the Client the entire realization of project execution of the second phase.

PROJECT: Integration to Djeno-Moho Nord Project ( Total E&P), Pointe Noire – Congo
Moho Nord project is a deep sea field development in 1100 m water depth and 75 km east of Congolese coast. New produced oil will be stabilized offshore and export to existing Djeno terminal. The Djeno integration works include installation of onshore pipeline and pig receiver, 2 heaters with fuel package, 1 flowmeter, associated utilities and drainage system, and connection to the existing facilities.
Manage all Basic and Details projects for all civil activities in yard, management, control and verifications for all civil works (Foundations, Buildings, Metal structures, 35 km of Carbon Steel Pipeline with different diameter 32” and 24”, Piperack, Flowline various networks, Wharf refurbishment), management of contractors and sub contractors, coordination and supervisor for topographical activities, mechanical activities, relationship with client, with contractors and subcontractors.
Efficient management of operations: organization of the necessary work preparation, coordination and follow-up, meetings, review of related risks and interferences, implementation of precautions, verification of the fitness-for-purpose of human and material resources, issue of permits to work, preparation and any revision of the Method Statements for each civil and mechanical activities (Wharf area and Brownfield area inside Refinery).
Identification, Management and Coordination of an engineering team in Congo (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical) which is also interfaced with engineering in Italy and with the engineering of the customer, for design and then implement of some substantial changes required from Total E&P on the necessity of the reduction of the schedule of the works, and also for the related cost reduction.
