 To tackle all the emergencies occurring regarding electrical system during the
shift.
 To co-ordinate all maintenance activities for plant electrical equipments.
 Testing, Health check, condition monitoring, Maintenance and Overhauling of
Electrical installation.
 Manpower scheduling and organizing to carryout maintenance works and meeting engineering solution.
 Executing jobs as per SOP & SMP and adopted E-Permit procedures.
 Coordination with process and other maintenance departments for planning and
prioritization and execution of tasks, maintaining inter departmental co-ordination
 To ensure availability and reliability of electrical system/equipments.
 Engineering support in the preventive, corrective, trouble shooting, shutdown &
major & minor maintenance activities on various types of HV/LV equipments &
distribution system.
 Preparation of various reports related to Operation and Maintenance activities.
 Synchronizing of Generators.
 Maximum Demand control in case of generator tripping.
 Synchronizing with grid after islanding
