Renfrew Group International(UK)
Motorcycle Designer freelance

   May 2015
— Nov 2015

•I have been working on an Enduro motorbike project called “Dafra 150 Motard” for the Client Triumph Motorcycles Ltd.
•My role was to send by e-mail every week sketch concept proposals to the Company Manager Mr Bruce Renfrew.
He didn’t give me any Particular restrictions on the frame and stance, tank, he was only concerned about the basic side elevation (including the engine, forks, and complex cycle parts such as transmission parts, brakes, and brake callipers).
• I created my own Design considering the prevailing sharp fashion, overlaying and intersecting design detailing
With a predominant forward thrust.
This layering of surfaces gives the designs a multifaceted look rather than a smooth contiguous form.
•Mr Bruce picked one of my concept proposals and built a real scale prototype calling it “Dafra 150 Motard”
•This project gave me a better understanding of the mechanical layout design of a bike and I learned how to design an attractive and relevant bike stance and how motorcycle parts hangs together visually, unlike cars where forms are generally blended into one another to form a cohesive one, two or three boxes layout, motorcycles tend to be an assemblage of forms that work as a whole.
