Previously I have 35 years of service experiences including pursuing in service PhD on ‘Natural Science and Technology’ from Japan and participates 9 intl. training on food security, sustainable development, irrigation and climate change impacts etc in mostly Asian Countries. I worked as the Project Director/Team Leader of a number of projects as well as about 50 scientific papers (10 books) is published. I strongly believe that experiences, devotion & integrity usually turns toward the success for any challenging jobs.
Most of my service is spent as Director of different divisions of BARD (Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development) and trained development activist’s and field workers by experiences gained through project management works. Recent publications (books) on experiences are: (1) Climate Change Mechanisms and Water and (2) Water and Natural Environment: Widespread Disorder and Emerging Issues. It is for kind information that I am awarded (January 2016) by ‘Bangabandhu National Agriculture Award 1420’ for mass awareness build up, research/project publications and publicity on water environment. I worked for about one year as Environmental Safeguard (both technical and social) & LEA/EIA (Limited Environmental Assessment/Environmental Impact Assessment) Expert (National Consultant) at the IAPP of MoA, (WB project) and successfully synthesized climate co-benefits from the technologies developed & applied through IAPP to disadvantaged people. At present I have been working as a Consultant of ‘Strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation Capabilities of IMED’ at Dhaka. My profession mainly, dealt with the pilot project development and management following the procedures (PPA/PPR & WB Principles) of the country where environmental issues are vital element. Moreover, I like to work with disadvantaged to develop their environment by motivating/appropriate awareness/capacity building.
