I am a native-speaking German with a Masters degree in Physics and many years of German language teaching experience. I am looking for a full-time German language teaching position in Shanghai.
I have lived in Shanghai for the last six years, during which time I have taught German at Shanghai I & C Foreign Languages College, East China University of Political Science and Law and Shanghai New Oriental School. Previously, I worked with the German Language Institute in Cairo, Egypt. In the past two years I have worked at Harrow International School in Shanghai and have had experience teaching IGCSE level students.
I enjoy working with students and preparing them for their future careers. To me teaching in a foreign country is not only about the language, it is also about communicating with another culture, raising awareness, tolerance and knowledge.
If you are looking for a Native German language teacher, I hope you will contact me to discuss the position. If you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact me either by email or phone.
With best regards

between four different levels to cater for absolute beginners to children who have a background in the German language. Interactive lessons are centred around play although there is an expectation that children should be progressing in their ability to recognise and speak German. Sensitivity to cultural differences and teaching very young children has been essential.
