Dear Sir or Madam,

I am expressing my interest in being considered for a full-time teaching position as an elementary or middle school classroom teacher within your school. I am certain that my teaching experiences coupled with my personality, dedication, and passion for teaching will allow me to make a positive contribution to any team.

I am an outgoing and friendly individual with a high energy level. I enjoy learning and experiencing new cultures, traditions, and food, as well as meeting new people from all over the world. I am a caring, compassionate and patient person who gives 100 per cent to everything that I do. I am reliable and self-motivated with a strong mature work ethic.

My accumulative employment experience overseas has enabled me to become a highly adaptable and flexible individual within an international learning environment. I have taught in Abu Dhabi for almost seven years now, working at a primary school within the public school system. While here, serving as the team lead has afforded me the opportunity to coach and mentor new and existing teachers while working to uphold the school’s mission and values. In addition, my classroom teaching experience has empowered me to deliver effective differentiated instruction while promoting critical thinking, innovation and problem-solving. Also, as the English Subject Coordinator, I work closely with administration to analyze school-wide data, identify areas of improvement, and create action plans to address student needs.

Prior to earning my teaching certification, I taught in South Korea for 3 years, working at a language institute teaching kindergarten, primary, and middle school children English, math, science and physical education and at a high school teaching ESL. This experience gave me the confidence and reassurance to pursue a career in education. I am confident that my attributes will make me a valuable asset to your school.

I welcome an interview with you at your earliest convenience.
