Served 27 years in the British military as a medic with the British commando’s and the submarine service. Retired at the ultimate non-commissioned rank of Warrant Officer First Class. Awarded the position of Command Warrant Officer for the Flag Officer of Scotland Northern Ireland & Northern England and appointed twice as a Regimental Sergeant Major. Career achievements were the appointment of Regimental Sergeant Major at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Planning and initiating security and safety to the population fulfilling the leadership, logistics, discipline and welfare of 4,000 troops.

Regimental Sergeant Major for the Commando Medical Regiment in Afghanistan 2011.

Chief Naval Medic and medical Instructor attached to UK Special Forces working with the Special Boat Service from 2002-2006 and the Special Air Service 2006-2008 supporting in conventional warfare, Counter Narcotics and Counter Terrorism operations. Developed medical courses and educated UKSF patrol medics, introducing paramedic training which was then constructed for other UK military medics enhancing the development of military medical training.
