• Monitor and visual inspection during the welding of a variety of steel pipe grades including Carbon Steel and CRA, using processes such as GMAW, FCAW, TIG and SMAW etc.
• Monitor and Recording of all readings during Welder Qualifications, with interim and final visual inspection
• Regular checks of all consumable materials and carrying out PMI checks of welding wire.
• Witnessing of Coating PQT/PPT’s as well as inspection of surface preparation and application of numerous materials including FBE, HSS, Solid PU/gravel and CMF etc. Inspection of subsequent repairs carried out.
• Dimensional Control of line pipe, followed by final inspection of pipes and supervision of numerous pipe load
-outs to Allseas’ offshore vessels from yards in Malaysia, Holland and Norway.
