The mission of the MFO is to supervise the implementation of the security provisions of the Egyptian-Israeli Treaty of Peace and employ best efforts to prevent any violation of its terms.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for all processes in respect of Contract Agreements, from raising the requests to awarding a contract.
• Reviewing performance to identify opportunities to reduce costs within a contract
• Working with Force Technical Staff in all areas of business to identify and correct discrepancies and performance investigate any reported incidents of Below Standard performance by Contractors and take the necessary follow-up action
• Carry out Management reviews and conduct technical studies
• Coordinate security issues with Contractors
Achievements
• Successfully delivered construction contracts for the Force in excess of $20m in FY 16/17.
• Successfully transitioned the business taking over the Management of the Labour Support Contract from a Contractor that had been in place 32 years, saving US$ 1.2m
• Carried out various reviews of established contracts to ensure optimum performance.
• Established an effective Bid Review Committee process
• Delivered a Service Contract within Budget identifying savings in year to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Maintained effective working relationships with Contractors to ensure a positive inclusive environment.
