Summary

I am a BIM expert with 5 years of experience in BIM projects.
I am experienced in BIM information management, coordination, production, implementation and training, having a deep understanding of the meaning and the practical challenges of applying and achieving Level 2 BIM in the design of buildings and infrastructures.
During the last years, I have gained a large experience and practical skills in the use of BIM tools, as well as a mature competence in the management and delivery of information in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, aligned with BS1192:2007 and PAS1192-2.
I am mostly experienced in large scale infrastructure projects in which multiple disciplines, companies, nationalities and cultures are involved, performing both in productive and managing roles, depending on the project and the company requirements.
I am also experienced in managing complex teams, BIM training (both for managers and technicians), bim implications in bidding processes, resources management, procurement of BIM services, BIM standardization and BIM implementations.

For the last 3 years I have been a key player in the transformation of one of the most important Engineering and Architecture companies in Spain (TYPSA), focusing mainly on BIM; succeeded as well in developing a number of unique projects, mostly related with infrastructures.
This experience has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the operation of a large international company (2,500 employees worldwide); As well as the development of large infrastructures and building projects in complex environments, with many stakeholders, in different roles, from different disciplines, cultures and nationalities.

Bim Solutions Center was a small consultancy firm, specialized in BIM, consisting of experts distributed by different countries like Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, New Zealand, Cuba, UK and Spain.
Almost every consultant were working remotely from each country, so we used to work together in a cloud based collaborative environment.
They hired me when I was living in London; I was trained in BIM and its methods and, after a period of training, I moved to Cuba in charge of training and managing the implementation of BIM in a French construction company (the second larger of France) that operates in Cuba building hotels.
At the end of this 3-month project, I returned to Stuttgart for a time; and after a while I started working from Madrid; Carrying out projects collaboratively from my own office and conducting market studies for the expansion of business in Spain and South America.

Highlights
-Implantation and development of BIM in TYPSA.
I have been part of trainings about managing and tools; managing and lecturing. I have also participated in the search for qualified personnel and in the hiring of specialized services; as well as in technological updating and commercial advice.
I have done reports to improve the Quality Management System; Defining roles and studying and indicating the development guidelines.

These projects are the ones I have participated the most; I have played as BIM manager and coordinator of 4 projects, 6 stations, 4 disciplines, 8 production centers, 6 companies and about 150 models. So different levels of coordination were established in this projects.
