Control (QC)/ Quality Assurance (QA) in Oil & Gas industry and have been working for many projects where owners, clients, contractors from international companies. The projects include but not limited to new building of Jack-up rigs, platforms jacket and topside, accommodation modules, refinery piping spools and repairing/modifying parts of other Jack-up rigs, both onshore and offshore
projects. I have taken role of Welding Inspector, Welding Engineer, and QA Engineer, QA.QC Superintendent. This involves in the shop prefabrication to site construction, QA and QC for steelworks as material receiving inspection, prefabrication, blast and paint, field assembly, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, handover works for steel structures, piping, storage tanks, and pressure vessels. As a Welding Engineer, I have been preparing nearly one hundred (100) Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) qualifying for normal strength, higher strength, extra-high
strength, hardened steel, stainless steel in accordance with American standards (AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, ASME IX/ASME VIII Div.1/ASME B31.3) and European standards (ISO 15614, ISO 15609). Furthermore, I have been working as a QAQC Superintendent for several projects also in Oil & Gas industry, which helps me understand more about controlling a quality system to ensure that everything relating to quality runs smoothly during the project. I have good command of various
American, European and other national standards, codes of practice and rules from Class Societies (ABS, DNV GL, RS, LR…), rules in Maritime industry (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL...) relevant to Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities. Besides, my fluency in English also helps me a lot while working independently in an international environment.
