My name is Christopher Rogers and I am currently working in the manufacturing industry as a manufacturing/process engineer in Largo, FL. Prior to this I graduated from the University of South Florida majoring in industrial engineering in May 2015 with my BSIE degree and received my masters in Engineering Management in December 2016. In my current and prior experience I have worked in fast paced manufacturing environments related to aeronautics, circuit card assembly, battery production, and base materials. Over the course of my academic career, including my internship opportunities, I have learned a great deal and gained skills and tools to solve real world complex business problems using industrial engineering solutions. I have worked mainly in process, manufacturing, and quality engineering allowing me the ability to work with experienced mentors to help solve a variety of problems both as a part of team and as an individual. My manufacturing background has also allowed me to work on multiple lean and six sigma related projects that have helped my current and past companies save time and money. As well academically I have experience dealing with large amounts of data and being able to manipulate it to find out information and trends to benefit those involved.
