I am a motivated officer with extensive experience with a number of emergency response teams. I have operated at the highest level within the aviation industry and also recently as part of a multi-faceted specialist offshore unit, where I had broad exposure to a range of fire, oil response, rope rescue and confined space rescue incidents as well as undertaking fire safety risk assessments and inspections. I have also had experience developing and delivering training to operational staff and in house colleagues. Operationally my main attributes are the ability to remain calm, act fast and above all remain safety conscious in all situations.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE OFFICER – As part of an Emergency Response Unit it was our job to ensure quick deployment to any emergency that might occur, including fire, medical and security.
Deployment on the islands was a 28 day rota meaning the ERU team provides 24/7 cover that includes:
• Firefighting Repsonse
• Marine Rescue and Oil spill Response/chemical storage
• Rope rescue
• Confined Space/Trench/Excavation Rescue
• Fire Safety and Construction site Inspection
• Fire Warden & Fire Extinguisher Training for company employees
• Work force Fire Safety awareness talks.
Day to day routine also includes maintenance of competency through drills of potential scenarios and equipment and vehicle up keep.

• Training of new Recruits as part of the Firefighting Course.
