Tenacious, resilient and dedicated, I am a well-connected general manager who believes in the power of effective communication to achieve objectives, especially when encouraging innovation and developing projects. I have maturity and a proven track record that demonstrates a sound understanding of the financial processes and the ability to meet the expectations of owners and other stakeholders. I trust in the influence of effective marketing and PR and am an adaptable leader, with an ease and ability to work within teams at all levels and in multi-national organisations, cultures and environments.

My early career was grounded in traditional hotel keeping in London at Claridge’s and the Savoy, followed by more than twenty years in the International luxury hotel arena, the majority of which was with InterContinental Hotels. I subsequently managed the opening of two hotel project developments and a boutique hotel. I then ran two of the world’s most prestigious private members clubs in the UK and Hong Kong and most recently headed up the development of a luxury villa and residential country club development in Thailand.

I am a keen and active proponent of various sustainability and environmental issues and was also Chairman of the Club Managers' Association of Hong Kong, for whom I organised and promoted successful international conferences.

I have also been active in driving various educational initiatives and have been involved with various government bodies in shaping tourism policies.
