Summary

I am an experienced well site geologist with over 7 years of horizontal drilling experience including Conventional, unconventional, thermal, and coring projects. I have strong knowledge in both carbonate and sililiclastic reservoirs. I possess a strong ability to observe and evaluate drill cuttings, build well logs to suit client’s needs and plan and execute horizontal drilling or coring programs.

I have been responsible for the following duties including but not limited to:

Carrying out safety initiatives, acquired wellsite and geologic data, collection preparation and preservation of drill cuttings and core, lithological evaluation, description, and interpretation of drill cuttings, cores, chips, and cavings, hydrocarbon analysis of both free hydrocarbon as well as in situ hydrocarbon, gas detection, gas chromatography set up, recording and analyzation, wireline logging supervision and evaluation, MWD/LWD supervision and evaluation, evaluating offset data prior to drilling including offset wireline, seismic, structure maps, attending pre spud meetings at clients head office prior to drilling, well correlation and picking tops, stratigraphic interpretation and lithological prediction, quick look wireline log interpretation, picking core point, picking casing point, control drilling within target zones, preparing daily and end of well comprehensive reports, shipping/delivering all hard materials obtained on site to relevant offices or government facilities.

In every position I have held, I strive to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines as well as identify, analyze and resolve issues and problems effectively. Throughout my work experience I have developed very strong interpersonal and leadership skills from constantly dealing and working with new contractors and co-workers.

Travelling in over 22 countries, I pride myself in the ability to interact and work with people from all disciplines and communicate effectively with others from a different background then myself.
