Adhere to the TFS’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures of as applicable to this position.
Assist site management by actively participating in the company’s safety programs, including behavioral audits, JSA’s, SOP’s, near miss reporting, safe work , hazard identification and risk assessment, practices and environmental policies and procedures.
Manage the execution preventive maintenance and repairs for all the Komatsu (shovel PC1250 , PC2000, dump truck HD785, dozer D275A & D375 A, grader GD825, wheel loader WA900 Sandvik (Pantera and leopard 1500) and plant equipment such as slurry pumps, heavy duty drive train, gearboxes, winches, and ancillary support equipment (generators, dewatering pumps lighting towers, cranes and Hiab).
Lead the mobile plant maintenance workshop, establish systems and procedures to ensure sustainable safe and reliable equipment.
Responsible for driving the continuous improvement and reliability of the mobile fleet by ensuring planned maintenance activities are completed with minimal impact on productivity
Planning of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and backlogs of all heavy mining equipment fleet of and an Accomplish with the KPIs (Availability, MTBS and MTTR) goals proposed by the maintenance management using CMMS ERP system
Plan and management of planned and breakdown maintenance activities including the allocation of labor, sourcing of relevant parts and external contractor services and supplies
Make purchases of new spare parts and services required for the proper operation of the machines.
Improve reliability and equipment health through condition monitoring techniques
