I am a professional quantity surveyor with full working rights in Melbourne, Australia in the form of a skilled independent visa (visa sub-class 189, permanent resident). I am registered MRICS member (Member Number 6162694).

In my former quantity surveying role in Melbourne, Australia I have done cost planning and contract administration on various projects. Prior to moving to Australia, I have practiced as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Johannesburg, South Africa with seven years of experience. I have worked on retail, residential, education, civil and healthcare projects across government and private sectors.

Throughout the course of my career, I have honed my cost planning, contract administration, bill production, tendering, tender adjudication, cost control and cost reporting abilities. I am an astute problem-solver capable of prioritizing and managing complex projects with proficiency.

During my career and professional development as a quantity surveyor, I have exercised collaboration, communication and leadership in contribution of team efforts and organizational improvements. I am open-minded and focused on new developments in my field and the Australian market. I have proven to be effective and thorough, with proficiency in critical thinking and collaborative work. • Accurate measurement of quantities in assisting the preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities
• Assist senior leadership team and directors to rate and cost plan estimates through sourcing of material, labour and sub-contractor pricing
• Assist senior team in preparing financial reports
