I am an accomplished Quantity Surveyor, Professional Project Manager, Strategic Thinker and Social Entrepreneur with more than 16 years extensive experience gained with social enterprises, private and quasi government sectors in Zimbabwe, Kenya, Botswana and Tanzania, including International Financial Institutions, Academic Institutions, Community Based organizations, and the exposure to other housing and WASH delivering organizations in Africa and Abroad gained through consultancy and exchange programs. I aim to leave a mark of excellence on everything I get into contact with. The overall goal of the assignment was to develop a bankable and implementable housing transaction structure for the project site that (a) satisfied end-users needs and affordability constraints, and (b) the risk/reward constraints of developers and lending institutions - upon which the continued sustainability and scalability of the affordable housing market is dependent. I was responsible for the provision of Quantity Surveying services to the team that was set up to carry out the project, including developing early design costs to final figures, necessary to minimize the costs of the project and enhance value for money whilst ensuring that the project meets all statutory and quality assurance requirements and regulations.

Strategic and leadership duties
• Played a lead role in the formulation, structuring and rolling out of ShelterSol Holdings and its entities
• Leading the Property and Housing Development function of the Group, advising and appraising the Group Chief Executive and Board on organizational business.

• Financial modelling of the project so as to align clients expectations and the organization’s sustainability and business objectives through various product mixes, tenure types, including coming up with exist strategies at every stage of project development.
• Stakeholder Engagement, including interfacing with Development Partners, Line Ministries, Local Authorities, Consultants and all other project stakeholders and constantly assessing their expectations and aligning such to the project deliverables.
• Carrying out a comprehensive risk planning and managing project risks throughout the project life cycle.
