Procurement In-charge (Purchaser / Sales & Marketing)
Last Updated: 4th February 2020 (over 2 years ago)
Joined my previous company, Qatar Development & Trading Co. LLC, in March 2007 and started my career as an Administration Assistant. The company was a general trading (buying & selling) established in the year 2006 with couple of potential clients in the oil & gas sector. I have been promoted as Administration & Purchasing Assistant late in 2008. The company had a change in management in 2009 and I had to manage sale and marketing as well.
I had an incredible career journey and started picking up clients through government & semi-government establishments from other sectors. My strategic sourcing methods helped me to expand client database from other sectors such as Aviation, Marine, Military & Defense, Medical & Healthcare, Education & Sports, Transportation & Fleet Management, Hospitality, Infrastructures, etc. and secured a well known name "QDT" among them.
I managed for certain period to partnership with one of our principals and start a division which had been dealing with specialized materials such as varieties of filters, batteries, equipment, spare parts & kits, etc. for heavy vehicles & heavy machineries equipped in fast growing construction sector.
During my tenure, I gained more knowledge on sourcing any type of client required materials and services both globally & locally. I accomplished my duties as Procurement In-charge for the entire group when a second management change occurred in the company.
