• Key duties involve breakdown maintenance of oil and gas processing equipment. Preventative maintenance of equipment including visual inspections, vibration monitoring, HVAC airflow analysis, rotating equipment alignment and lubrication routines. Carry out routine inspection/repairs of platform safety systems including lifeboats, HVAC, emergency response firefighting and first aid equipment. Commissioning of new equipment.
• Equipment worked with include: MTU diesel engines, Ruston/Solar turbine systems, screw compressors, centrifugal/multistage/positive displacement pumps including mechanical seal assemblies, HVAC fans and dampers, separators, plate heat exchangers, valves, pipework and small bore tubing.
• Active user of SAP maintenance management system and participant/coach in Behavioural based safety philosophies.
• Team leader for platform emergency response team. Role involves quick response to platform alarms and musters. Dynamic assessment and planning of emergency situations. Planning and supervision of emergency drills.
• Active user of P-Vision permit to work system and trained past user of ISSOW.
