Type of industry: Welding Power and Energy;
Welding techniques: FCAW, SMAW and GTAW;
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications;
Responsible to ensure that the correct WPS is used during welding;
Ensure correct consumables are being used according to the process card;
Responsible for movement of welding equipment;
Ensure welders are used on the correct jobs according to his abilities;
Responsible for visual inspection of welds prior to NDT requests handed in;
Ensure all welding targets are met;
Ensure compilation of the NDT requests and that all the paperwork is done timeously and accurately;
Ensure all persons under my control work in a safe manner.
