As a senior manager, I am part of the company strategic team where the company performance is evaluated and yearly strategy developed.
Due to the economic downfall, we were tasked to diversify the business. I successfully introduced a different product range into our steel plant which does not form part of our core business. I have also grown this portfolio with just over 80% in sales the second year. I liaised with all departments, compiled costings, researched and developed the product and started the manufacturing process.

We have a company within our group that were acquired in 2016, I form part of an internal operations team that look at improving the day to day functions, reducing cost and improving the efficiencies to ultimately increase productivity and grow profits.

I am also involved with business development and growth opportunities, This consists of technical evaluations, research and development work, presentations and sales pitches as well as prototype and field testing.

I sit on the group Risk committee where risk assessments are done on over 10 companies, major risks are identified, mitigated and controlled within the group. I also provide support and do internal audits within the group on all management systems
