Key Roles:
Monitor and influence all subcontractors to be aligned with the Company HSE requirements
Beginning with the development, compilation and successful completion of the pre-contract start-up Readiness Reviews, into the final load-out of the constructed off-shore equipment. To represent Company at the designated project construction yards at all locations and during the offshore subsea deployment on all vessels and the FPSO, to liaise with both Contractors and Subcontractors to act as the focal point for Safety by providing a positive leadership role to implement and promote all HSSE matters throughout the project phases in the construction and deployment
Responsibilities:
• Provided guidance to Project Management through interpretations of applicable regulatory, client & local requirements.
• Client representative for onshore/offshore subsea fabrication yards and as client representative was responsible for assurance to Company HSE Standards by contractors and subcontractors.
• Single focal point for all Company interests and for all HSE matters in construction and fabrication,
• Lead and direct development of the Project Management HSSE Plan and the performance improvement process
• Delivering input into the Company Readiness Reviews process required of all contractors, including; Hazids, Hazops, JSA’s, etc.
• Conduct site audits (COW, GRoS, SOC and HSSE) of the project activities and related facilities.
• Developed site specific training programs for staff and subcontractor personnel ensuring that individuals have gained expected knowledge levels of the required Company HSSE standards.
• Develop and administer an HSSE action tracking system.
• Ensure that risk assessment and management processes are in place.
• Monitor Contractors compliance within COW process and identifying shortfalls within their own system against Company OHM’s expectations
• Championed the Behavioral Based Safety Program conducting SOC, safety observation conversations in compliance with behavioral safety implementation
• Monitoring and reporting the projects HSSE performance.
•Carrying out rigging studies reviews and approval of heavy lifts plans –Company Safety Immersion Lifting Operations.
• Gain assurance that Company HSSE expectations and HSSE contractual requirements are fulfilled by Contractor performance and output
• Assist with loading & offloading of vessels while in port to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensuring compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 & ISO 18001
• Site visits to various fabrication yards to monitor compliance of Contractor HSE programs to ensure they are in line with Company requirements

Key Roles:
To represent HMC-Heerema at Subcontractors locations working with both Contractor and Subcontractors as a focal point for Safety and providing a positive leadership role with implementation and promotion of all HSSE matters throughout the project phase.
Responsibilities:
• Single focal point for all HMC’s interests and for all HSE matters in fabrication, schedules, completions, load outs and commissioning.
• Working in a standalone HSSE position for HMC in remote locations, overseeing all contractors and subcontractors work scopes.
• Supervise and advise on all safety and COSHH matters for paint coating activities.
• Proactively drive safety management to achieve an LTI free site, achieving this by assessing and maintaining up to date risk assessments and ensuring that all PTW’s & JSA’s are implemented and approved. Participating in HAZOP, HAZID, HIRA’s, TBT’s and all relevant HSSE site activities, participate and review of the Readiness Revues and PSAC’s for the Fabrication, FAT Hydro testing, Blasting and Painting and the subsequent load out operations.
• Ensure HMC HSE standards are promoted and maintained during the fabrication, commissioning and testing activities.
• Participating in all HSSE meetings both internal to site and weekly teleconference with TOTAL/HMC/PTM management and actively take part in project site safety man inspections.
• Responsible and accountable for all safety matters during project activities.
• Assisting with rigging studies and reviewing and approval of heavy critical lifting plans
