I reported to the VP, provided oversight for Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Administration, Contracts, Human Resources, Immigration, Travel and Training departments to an Oil and Gas (Drilling Contractor) with personnel of 780+; prepared annual budgets for 6 Rigs and Thailand onshore operation, completed cost analysis to compare actual vs budget, significantly reduced targets set and came in under budget year on year.

exported Tender Assisted Drilling rigs.

• Successfully negotiated corporate rates with hotels, transport and airline companies in Thailand & reduced total spend by 23%.
• Analysed performance results, budgeting and internal controls; reviewed targets & came in under annual budget.
• Introduced employee handbooks for all onshore and offshore staff and streamlined communication methods for crew contacting the HR team; resulted in reduced time spent on crew queries by 30%.
• Negotiated with training providers to introduce tailored training courses appropriate for crew needs, led to increased overall offshore crew training compliance from 70% to 90%.
