Survey Says Gulf Jobs Market To Recover
Following a year of massive redundancies caused by the collapse in oil prices, the Gulf region is finally set to witness a stabilisation in job cuts and a moderate rate of new job creation in 2017. A survey by GulfTalent, with responses from companies across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, was designed to mine insights into employment trends and prospects for the year.

UAE Seeks To Lure Top Foreign Talent
The UAE government has approved a new visa system designed to attract top foreign talents in fields such as medicine, science and research to the country, Bloomberg reports Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as saying, “The United Arab Emirates is the land of opportunities. Attracting top talents will “add to our economy and future,” he said.
